August 2021 Monthly Meeting - Breadcrumbs: Lessons for the future of PR
Time & Location
About The Event
We have moved into the era of stakeholder-centric communications; it requires PR professionals to adapt and evolve to competently guide their organizations. Make plans to join us as we welcome Conroy Boxhill, who will provide nuggets on the professional skills and communication approaches to help organizations build resilient reputations.
In his current role leading U.S. and Canada operations for Porter Novelli, Conroy leads a high-performing team of 300 communications professionals who partner with clients to anticipate, navigate and close the “say-do” gap in stakeholder expectations.
As the global pandemic and fight for racial justice emerged a focal point for businesses, Conroy and team launched a consulting offering to guide clients on values-based solutions designed to break down systems of injustice and create systems of fairness and equity.
Conroy has extensive expertise working with the C-suite and Boards of Directors to shape strategic communications programs to transform their business. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Conroy led Edelman’s corporate and crisis practice where he served as a senior strategist for global crisis communications, thought leadership and reputation management.
Conroy earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
