FEBRUARY MEETING: VR in PR

Seth Maggard, strategic communications coordinator with Booz Allen Hamilton at the Air Force Culture & Language Center, will talk about Virtual Reality in Public Relations. Booz Allen Hamilton has developed Culture and Language Virtual Reality to train and connect leaders around the world. During this program, Seth this immersive technology and share how virtual experience is shaping messaging and strategic communications planning.

Seth Maggards bio

Prior to coming to Booz Allen Hamilton, Seth served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the Marine Corps Association’s Photographer of the Year in 2008 for combat photo and video he took in Iraq. He then served as a photojournalism instructor at the Defense Information School near Washington, D.C., instructing military members from all branches of service and DoD civilians. He has received multiple awards and accolades, including recognition for his work in Virtual and Augmented Reality storytelling, where most recently he designed a VR program that teaches culture and language lessons in international environments.
