Kadie Agnew is Communications and Marketing Manager for Baptist Health which provides
comprehensive healthcare for the citizens of Central Alabama. Together with Maghen Barranco, social
media consultant for Baptist Health, Kadie will discuss how the COVID-19 Coronavirus Crisis affected their
social media planning efforts along with how they had to pivot to communicate the Coronavirus resources
they provide for our community.

is the mantra that Kadie tries to follow personally and professionally. Serving as the
Communications and Marketing Manager for Baptist Health and being a brand new
Mom, Kadie knows that every great relationship begins with good communication.
An award-winning broadcast journalist, Agnew is no stranger to the art of
storytelling. In her current role, Kadie has the privilege of writing and pitching
stories that are focused on the incredible events and people within Baptist Health.
A proud graduate of Auburn University, Agnew currently serves as the Vice
President of Communications for the Junior League of Montgomery and was
recently named a “Woman to Watch” by this organization. She is a member of the
Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Alabama Hospital Association, Public Relations
Association, and past board member of the Public Relations Council of Alabama.
