We were pleased to recognize Laura Hicks as Star of the Quarter at our March chapter meeting. As 2017 Historian and member of our chapter's board of directors, Laura truly went "above and beyond" the call of duty. In her role as historian, she challenged our board to think bigger and to help make our chapter all that it can be for our members. 

Laura devoted countless hours to prepare submissions for PRCA's Sharon Heflin Chapter of the Year (COTY) competition. At PRCA's 2018 State Conference in Huntsville last week, our chapter received the following awards as part of that competition: First Place, Accreditation Category; Second Place, Communications Category; Second Place, Membership Category; Third Place, Chapter Management Category. Laura, we are most grateful for your service, and we have just one more thing to say: "Good job, good job (clap, clap)!"
